I upgraded to the Nest Pro today and now my download speed is around 345.  When I ran it with the old Google Wifi, it was near 800mbps....what is the deal??????????

Hello luke12345,

Thanks for reaching out. We'd love to help.

A few questions: was your network the same as when you were using your Google Wifi? If not, what changes were made? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Please verify that you're using a Cat5e or Cat6 cable that's undamaged and securely plugged into your modem and Google Nest Wifi Pro router. Ensure that there's minimal interference in the room where you place your router. Try to power cycle your entire network as well. Here's how:

  1. Disconnect the power from the modem.
  2. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and power cord from the parent point.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the child points.
  4. Leave everything unplugged for 2 minutes.
  5. Connect the power from the modem, then to your router and points.

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Lovely
