Various IoT devices don’t connect to google nest.

Has google fixed the connectivity issues for google nest pro? I’m still having issues with various things not connecting to my WiFi (eg my Kwikset smart lock, and my nest thermostat. It’s only been an issue since I upgraded to the google nest pro mesh system.

There's no word from Google on if and when they'll make setup of 2.4ghz only devices easier.

If you want to keep Nest Wifi and those difficult to set up IoT devices you can look into adding a access point that supports 2.4ghz only SSID. Could be an old router, range extender. Connect it to the primary Nest Wifi unit by ethernet cable, make sure it (the additional access point) is in bridge mode, create a dedicated 2.4ghz only wireless network/SSID.

I don't work for Google.
