Hi Team.

I have a Google Nest Wifi, I ask Google to unpair from wifi and it does fine. What is the voice command to reconnect again to my Google nest wifi.

Thanks.

Hi Stewie83,

Thanks for posting.

We’d love to be of service, but could you confirm on what devices you are trying to unpair using voice commands? Is it through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi?

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

Dan

Hi Google Community, I’m trying to unpair and pair my Google wifi nest with my voice. Is this possible. Thanks

As in the nest wifi minis back to the wifi network pair with my voice. I can unpair it but can’t pair it back onto my network with my voice. So I was just wondering what the voice command was. Thank you.

Hi folks,

Appreciate your help here, @Dan_A.

@Stewie83, thanks for the reply. The Google Nest Wifi Point has a built-in Google Assistant that makes it work like a Google Nest Speaker/Mini. But it needs to be added as a child point first (Wi-Fi mesh) before you’ll be able to set up the speaker functions (mesh before speaker).

When you said unpair, I’m thinking you’re referring to Bluetooth connectivity. Commands like “Hey Google, disconnect Bluetooth”, will unpair the child point to whichever device (smartphone, Chromecast with Google TV, etc.) it is paired to. Command it with “Hey Google, connect to Bluetooth," and it will turn on its Bluetooth broadcast and may connect back to the last device it was paired to, given that the device has the same feature (and is in pairing mode). If it’s a device that wasn’t paired before, that same voice command will just broadcast Bluetooth, and you may need to manually pair the other device to your child point.

Regarding the voice recognition, you may need to set it up in order for it to remember your voice. Unpairing Bluetooth connectivity won't make the child point forget about its voice recognition.

You can’t command the child point or other (Google Nest) speaker and display products to disconnect from Wi-Fi. And you can’t command it to connect back.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you still have questions.

Thanks,

Kimy

Hey there,

Apologies for the delay! Can you be specific on the command that you used and to what device you are giving the command to? Also, what do you mean by “css”?

Kind regards,

Dan
