Hi - I have an annoying problem when I try and use the Nest Wifi functionality of the Google Home App on my iPhone. Every time I go to the devices screen and scroll to find a device, it will at times automatically scroll me to the bottom of the list. This makes it impossible to find a device and select it unless you are really lucky and manage to find it before the auto scroll happens. This makes the app unusable for managing the WiFi network which isn't good. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Yeah, I'm seeing this, too, and it is maddening. The "real time" and "Connection strength" modes update every few seconds, and that seems to be what triggers this. You can switch to a different sort mode that is more stable, like Alphabetical, or "1 day", and it should be more stable. Still, though, this is pretty annoying behavior. I would also suggest sending in feedback using the Google Home app about this.

Yes I tried changing to Alphabetical and it still happens. I have a lot of devices so it really is more than a nuisance, it means I can't manage the network. I have sent feedback to Google through the app already (twice!) - no response 😞

Hi Apburke,
thanks for reaching out I have a few troubleshooting tips that might help you get things working again.
If you've already tried these steps, or if they don't work, let me know and we can see what else we can do.

Manuel

Thanks but I have already tried all of these previously and no luck. It seems to have changed about 3 or 4 updates ago as it wasn't there earlier in the year.

Please fix this - very annoying - if we could just change how often the different headings refresh to every 30 seconds or something (instead of 5) it would probably be OK. If anyone has more than 10 devices you never get to see them all before the screen refreshes and shoots the view back up to the top. Also, there should be a way to delete all the greyed out boxes from the inactive or unknown devices - I should be able to delete any device from the network that I don't want on there or that is old and shouldn't be there anyway. Basically can't manage the network connections at all at this point.

I have this exact same issue. Been happening for several months. It is extremely maddening when trying to get accurate info about what is currently attached.

I don’t like it either. I’ve submitted feedback. It would fix the problem if the refresh rate could be adjusted. For now I type in a few letters in the search bar to locate a particular system.

Just read the rest of the chain above to understand Guilia’s comment. My note had the problem mentioned.

same issue on iPhone.
I have a lot of devices and it seems impossible to scroll down to see all of them.
the list is getting bigger with obsolete devices that I can’t delete.
