Just installed Google Fiber. Wired backhaul connection across 3 floors.
Modem > Pro > unmanaged switch > Basement Pro (globe port).
In Google Home app,
Same problem with another wired Pro kept upstairs !

I’m having the same issue. Wired backhaul and I see my performance drop to under 10 Gps every single day. I’m about ready to dump them and find a new mesh provider. I had none of these issues with my old AirPort routers.

Hello @GladDad
I am not sure I would expect faster than 200Mbps on an Amazon Firestick. Depending on the model, some may have 2x2 MIMO antennas, but in that compact form-factor, they will be printed on the PCB and close together, limiting the benefit of having multiple antennas.
I would use the Google Home app to see which access point that Firestick is actually connecting to (WiFi clients make that decision, not the network). It's entirely possible the firestick is still connecting to your primary/router Nest WiFi Pro unit in another room. Assuming it is connected to the nearby Nest WiFi Pro, when you're in the Google Home app device detail screen for the Firestick, scroll down and see what the middle number is – that's the one that measures how fast the secondary/point Nest WiFi Pro can talk to the primary via Ethernet. This should be in the hundreds of megabits per second if the wired backhaul is working properly.
I would also use another device that may have a better WiFi implementation to test performance. A laptop, ideally, though a quality tablet would be an option as well. Again, for those, make sure they are actually connecting to the nearby secondary/point Nest WiFi Pro unit before running a test.

Thanks @MichaelP . The Firestick 4K and other nearby devices all show up as connected to the wifi point. 4K Fire TV Stick Supports 1000 Mbps download.
The Main Wifi Pro speeds is 960 Mbps
The Basement Wifi speed is 173 Mbps
The Firestick device speed is 138 Mbps
Mac laptop, other devices in vicinity have similar speeds
Wish I could attach screenshots here

So, the middle number in the list of speeds is 173 Mbps? Have you run a mesh test after connecting that secondary/point Nest WiFi Pro unit via Ethernet? If so, and that number is only 173, I would start to suspect the Ethernet cable is having trouble holding a full 1Gbps connection reliably. If that number were under 100Mbps, I'd know that for sure, but since that number is above 100Mbps, I suspect it's "flapping" between 1Gbps and 100Mbps. On my older Google WiFi system with two wired secondaries, for example, that middle number is 550Mbps – and that's only because I have two wired secondaries that are both being exercised at the same time during a mesh test. If I only had one secondary (like you do), I would expect even more.
The only other thing I'd start to suspect was either the Ethernet switch having loop detection (spanning tree protocol) enabled or something else in your network (e.g., a Sonos bridge, powerline adapter, or MoCa adapter) having loop detection enabled. I know you said it's an unmanaged switch, but there are a handful of those that have loop detection. What's the exact make and model of that switch?

It's a Tp-link 5 port gigabit switch model TL-SG10050

Ok, that switch doesn't appear to support loop detection. It does have a "green power" feature, though. I haven't heard about that causing issues, but... maybe? To rule out the switch, can you try – just as a test – connecting the secondary/point Nest WiFi Pro directly to the primary/router Nest WiFi Pro unit's LAN Ethernet port (disconnect the switch from the network entirely and bypass it for this test).

Google Home app is always incorrect with ridiculously low readings for Wifi points and devices.
Connectivity | Fast.com | Ookla | Testmy.net | |
Direct connection wired | 450 | 883 | 337 | 312 |
Post Switch wired | 570 | 937 | 365 | 378 |
Pre point wired | 560 | 940 | 352 | 380 |
post point wired | 510 | 943 | 346 | 379 |
Wifi Point | 980 | 929 | 584 | 396 |
Wifi Pro router | 480 | 911 | 469 | 324 |
Internet speed test on Amazon Firestick 4K is always ~350Mbps !!

Google Home gives good speeds while my Ookla tests show the reality in my home of 9-10 vs the 550 Google Home measures.
