Won’t connect to internet

Can anyone tell me why my nest won’t connect to the internet. Everything is plugged in correctly, and I’ve reset several times. My internet is running fine, but google nest won’t connect to the internet. Please help

Thanks for the update. I’m sorry to hear that the issue persists. A few questions: to clarify, do you have the Google Nest Wifi router only or do you also have access points in your mesh system? When you try to set it up again after the factory data reset, are you able to find your Google Nest Wifi devices on your Google Home app? What’s the color of the status light for your Google Nest Wifi router? We’ll wait for your reply.

I'm having the same issue this morning my Internet just dropped off now I'm showing a red light did a factory reset now it is not showing up on my Google home app anymore that I have Google WiFi at all also when I try to reconnect to the system it keeps on telling me it can't find it... please help with I ideas as too what I can do to fix this

I have the Google WiFi nest, and two points. All three show up on my google home account, as activated, but disconnected from the internet. All status lights are a soft white.

Hey Cyco0008,

 

Have you had these points and router connected to the Internet before, or is this a new installation that never worked? If you had them set up and connected previously, did they all go offline at once, or at different times?

They were connected and running for over 6 months. Then the router disconnects from the internet, thus disconnecting the points from the internet

@Cyco0008, appreciate the update. To confirm, were you able to connect a computer or a laptop directly to your modem router and check if there is an Internet connection?

Yes my modem still connects to the internet. The router just doesn’t want to connect

Hi folks, 

@Chann, I just want to check if your issue is with Google Nest Wifi or with a Nest Camera. If it's the latter, you can create a new thread here in the Cameras and Doorbells Community forum.

@Xnight, make sure that you are factory resetting your Google Wifi correctly. Check your Internet service provider's modem to see if it has an internet connection.

Im having a issue with my cameras still! I want to cancel it to much and you guys aren’t any help
