Wrong mesh device selected as router

I have 3 nest wifi routers, with 1 connected via ethernet to the modem and the other 2 acting as wireless points. I'm confused how one of the wireless devices was selected as the router, and the one connected via ethernet is listed as a point. Will this impact my network? How do I change which device is the router vs. points?
