iPhone Wi-Fi Calling fails

We have little or no cell service at home.  Upgraded to Nest Pro and now very frustrated.  1GB fiber service.  iPhone Wi-Fi calls fail after 15 seconds or so.

Hi BCS,

Thanks for posting — let's get this sorted.

A few questions: is Wi-Fi calling working when the Google Nest Wifi Pro is not used? If yes, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? Can you use Wi-Fi calling on an Android?

Make sure that your iPhone is up-to-date and try restarting it. Perform a 2-minute power cycle on your entire network to see if that helps. Here's how:

  1. Disconnect the power from the modem.
  2. Disconnect the Ethernet cable and power cord from the parent point.
  3. Disconnect the power cord from the child points.
  4. Leave everything unplugged for 2 minutes.
  5. Connect the power from the modem, router and points.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,
Lovely

Had tried all of that and no luck.

Hey BCS,

If you haven't already, please perform a factory reset on your Google Nest Wifi Pro devices before getting them configured again. Observe if that resolves the issue or not.

Cheers,
Lovely
