my Internet speed is only 9mbps down

I have Frontier Interset 1Gbps down and up.  my service got interrupted for4 hours, when it came back up, my Google Nest in my office connected directly to Frontier eero modem.  When I check the speed of the eero it is 1.03Gbps.  However when I check my google nest speed it is only 9.12mbps.  My office google nest sits within 2 inches of the eero router.

I have restarted my google nest in the office. 

The google nest is connected to regmikewall-71 network from the start. I tried changing the network to the Frontier network regmikewall-2024, the name changes when I select save; however, the passwork keeps going back to the Regmikewall-71 Pwd.

Do I have to do a factor reset?

  • How often does this issue occur? Does this happen continuously or intermittently?
  • Do you use a modem and router combo?
  • Were there any recent changes in your network setup?
  • How many devices actively use the internet at once?
