when will issues connecting smart devices that "require" a 2.4 GHz band be addressed when using google nest wifi pro

The Google Nest WiFi Pro does have 2.4Ghz band. The router uses the same WiFi name for the 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz, and 6 Ghz bands. Your device will use the fastest, best band automatically. My computer automatically first tries to use the 6Ghz band, then when it's too far away, or if something blocks the signal, it drops down to 5Ghz band instantly.
My home has six 2.4 Ghz smart wall outlets and they all work perfect. I use Kasa Smart wall outlets. No problems yet for me.
What brand, model number, and device are you specifically having issues with on 2.4 GHz? If we had more info, we may be able to help better.

Hello everyone,
@TheMacGeek, I appreciate you trying to help here.
@notschke, thanks for reaching out. You can get your smart plugs or other smart devices connected to the 2.4 GHz network by setting them up farther from the Google Nest Wifi Pro routers. In that way, the phone that you're using for the setup will not switch to other bandwidths. For more information, you may check out this article: How Nest Wifi and Google Wifi 2.4, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands work.
You can also send feedback about separating the Google Wifi Pro bandwidths using your Google Home app.
Let me know if you have other questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Lovely
