I have an older home with plaster walls and getting poor signal in my basement. If the google nest(with 2 points) doesn't work can I return it for money back?

Hello @DRJ
I would be concerned about any WiFi system in a home with plaster walls. I usually recommend running Ethernet to multiple secondary access points in an environment like that, which is something Google WiFi supports, but a typical Nest WiFi system does not.
All of that said, whether you can return it or not should be a question for the place you bought it from. If you're buying it from the Google Store, here's their return policy: https://support.google.com/store/answer/2411741?hl=en

I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw MichaelP's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
