Google nest not swiping left

Hello

 

My son is on his second google nest. It will not swipe left in the tutorial so we can’t set up sleep monitoring.

 

I've followed all the incredible support instructions on this platform but it’s still not working. We have just replaced it today!

Please can someone help🙏

Hi Kirstyh78,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: when did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? Is this your first setup?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

If the issue persists, see this guide on how to factory reset your Nest Hub and let me know how it goes.

Hi Dan,

I’ve had google support looking into this further and we’ve exhausted their list of things to try. I think we will be returning it as nothing has responded. We’ve done a lot of factory resets, it just won’t show the sleep side or swipe right 🤷🏼‍♀️. So unfortunately I think it will have to go back!
