Hey Happy tech you don’t need to post a picture of the script to get help here it’s actually better to just copy and paste the automation text directly into your reply and wrap it in triple backticks so it shows as code. For Nest Gen 4, presence-based automations can be tricky and often won’t run unless presence sensing is fully enabled and working in the Google Home app first.
Make sure presence sensing is turned on for your home, location permissions are allowed for the Google Home app on your phone, and try toggling presence off and back on.
You can test a very simple presence automation (for example, triggering a broadcast when everyone leaves) to confirm that presence is firing at all before adding thermostat actions. If that basic test doesn’t trigger, the issue is likely with presence setup rather than your script.
