I'd like to use the Google MVD (Matter Virtual Device)  with the CSA Test Harness.

https://github.com/project-chip/certification-tool

Are the PICS available for each supported device types ?

Hi,

That's a great question! You can indeed use the Google Matter Virtual Device (MVD) with the CSA Test Harness for integration validation. However, please note that only the device types currently implemented in the MVD are supported.

The PICS (Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement) files for each supported device type are available through the CSA Certification Tool you linked.

Here's a typical setup process:

  1. Register the MVD as a Matter device in your Test Harness.
  2. Select the supported device types provided by Google MVD (e.g., Light, Outlet, Switch).
  3. Utilize the corresponding PICS from the CSA repository to conduct certification-style validation.
