Cannot join Thread Network. Error : "Can't connect to thread network NEST-PAN-1E0A"

Hi,

When we try to add Matter device, Google Home App shows the following error.

"Can't connect to thread network NEST-PAN-1E0A"

 

How to solve this?

We already verified last month that the thread device is able to do Matter commissioning in same environment.

 

Envilonments

  • Google Nest Hub(2nd gen) : 3.73.411796
  • Pixel 6a : Android 14
  • Google Home app : 3.19.1.3, 3.20.1.8
  • Thread matter device : Matter v1.3

Hello @keruhome ,

The reason you are getting the above error can be attributed to the presence of more than one hub devices with the same account on the same network. This results in the encountering of the above error during the pairing of the matter device. You can try keeping just one hub device on the network and re try adding the matter device. If the issue still persists feel free to open a ticket in this regard on the Public Issue Tracker

Thank you for kindly supports.

We try factory reset on NestHub and use only one NestHub with a Google account.
But we cannot solve error.

Please kindly supports.

 

* we have 2 set of Google systems. ( 2 user accounts, 2 Matter Thread Modules, 2 Nesthub devices and 2 Google Pixel devices )
  These systems are not connects each other. Just spare system for Matter test. Also, when we use for Matter commissioning, only one NestHub is power on.
* We already got vender ID from Alliance. So when we try to do Matter commissionning, we switch device information in Developer Console for prevent duprecate device informations.
