Hey All -
I have had Nest Thermostats in my house for years, but I have I have recently installed a Nest Thermostat in my business. I would like to be able to create some automation scripts via Python and the Smart Device Management API.
Unfortunately, the Nest Thermostat in my store is registered as another "home" under my Next App and my next app is registered under my wife's and my personal (shared) GMail account.
However, I would like to use my Google Workspace account for creating the app to access the device information via the SDM API.
However, I keep hitting brick walls trying to link my workspace account with the Next device information controlled by my Gmail account.
Does anybody have any good steps for adding Devices from a personal Next/Home account to a Workspace account?
Thanks,
Rick

Hello @RickGoldBug ,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your issue. As a standard guidance, we suggest not using a workspace or corp account with device access account. It is always recommended to make use of a generic email address. More information in this regard can be found here.
Once you have gmail account associated as an owner to an account you can add other accounts (gmail ones) as members through the Google Home App.
