Gemini setup was interrupted

I was enrolled in the Early Access and was prompted to start the upgrade to Gemini. Well, I was in the middle of something and wasn’t able to finish the process so I quit out of the app. Now in the Home app, it looks like I have Gemini setup (I can see the settings for it), yet I very clearly am on the old voice assistant.

Really not sure what to do…

Thanks for reaching out.

Please follow the instructions below to force the Google Home app to re-open the  Gemini onboarding screen.
1. Open Chrome browser on your phone.
2. Type or paste this exactly into the address bar: googlehome://assistant/voice/setup
3. Don't hit enter! Look for the suggestion link as in the pic attached below and tap on it.
4. This should launch the Home app directly into the "Get Started with Gemini" wizard. Complete it all the way to the end this time.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you! I was able to complete the setup, but it would appear I misdiagnosed the issue. I no longer have a nest speaker in my home as I had added Google Assistant on my Sonos Soundbar.

Is it possible to have Gemini on my soundbar or is it limited to Nest products? I’m afraid to try resetting the GA setup on the soundbar bc there are Sonos forum posts saying that that made the GA completely unavailable for users.

It is currently not possible to have Gemini natively integrated as a voice assistant on Sonos soundbars or speakers. While Google is rolling out "Gemini for Home" to its own Nest and Google Home devices, Sonos has been excluded from this transition.
