Matter SDK Device Connectivity Fails Due to Google Account Sync Issues

When integrating Matter SDK, device connectivity can fail due to unresolved Google account synchronization or outdated credentials (Any google account in the device).

 

Devices experience connection problems when:

  • Google account is out of sync
  • Account password has been recently changed
  • Stored credentials are no longer valid

Reproducible Steps

  • Change Google account password
  • Attempt Matter device connection
  • Observe connectivity failure

 

I want to address this issue for my app, where I am integrating the Matter SDK. How can I resolve it?

I have narrow down the issue from resetting the device to figuring out the core issue which was google account out of sync and here now i want to resolve this.

This is a issue which is happening with all the Matter production devices.

Please include all the details for your issue along with necessary screenshots or screen recordings. Once, we have all these details we will be able to triage the issue to the engineering teams for their investigation and providing a solution as soon as possible.
