Please ensure your phone’s media volume is turned up while you are viewing the live feed in Google Home App.
If this doesn't help, you can revert your camera to the Nest app. Note that this only works for older "legacy" cameras (Nest Cam Indoor/Outdoor, IQ, or Hello Doorbell). The newer "Nest Cam (Battery)" or "Nest Cam (Wired) 2nd Gen" are not compatible with the Nest app.
To move back to Nest, you need to remove camera from Google Home App:
Remove from Home App:
Open the Google Home app > Tap your Camera tile.
Tap Settings (gear icon) > Device Information.
Select Remove device.
Add to Nest App:
Open the Nest app.
Tap Settings (gear icon) > Add product.
Scan the QR code on the back/bottom of your camera.
