107.5 Cool FM stopping when streaming through Google nest mini

So as of late I am having issues streaming one radio station 107.5 Cool FM. I have tried reseting the Google mini and the router with no success. Other radio stations qork fine except for this one. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

Hi JoeB123,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have and thank you for doing some troubleshooting steps. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it the Google Home Mini or Nest Mini? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made? When you did the reset, was it the same steps as what you see in this link?
 

It would help a lot if we could confirm if other radio stations and channels are working since we rely heavily on 3rd-party devices and services for the feature to work properly. If other channels are working, could you reach out to the 107.5 Kool FM radio station to see if updates are happening? We need to isolate this further to know what the next steps are.

So I have both google home mini and google nest mini. I also have a Google Hub Max which does not cut out this station when playing it. So any insights would be appreciated

Hey JoeB123,

 

Chiming in, how far are your Home and Nest Mini from the router? Also, have you tried connecting one of your devices to a different network to check if you will have the same issue?

My home max is right next to the router and my mini is just in the next room to the router. So I don't think distance is an issue.

Hi JoeB123,

 

Thanks for the additional info. Let's reboot your router simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes. By doing so, we can avoid the congestion in your network and refresh your network settings for a better performance.

Hey Princess,

So I think it was a bandwidth problem. I have switched over from Roger's Ignite to Bell Fibe and the issue has gone away. Bell Fibe has 1gig download and upload and it seems to have rectified the problem. Thank you!
