2nd Gen Nest Hub not showing devices

Hey all. My new 2nd gen Nest Hub won’t show any of my smart home devices on the display. The entire section is empty. I’m able to control all these devices with my voice through the Nest Hub as well as on the Google Home app but just don’t show on my display. Tried to reset and reconfigure multiple times. Thoughts on how to fix? Many thanks.

Problem solved!

Ended up chatting with support. Agent suggested trying to create a new home under the same account, which I did, and then transfer one device to see if it would show up on the hub. It did.

So, I then proceeded to transfer all my devices to the new home and delete the old home once completes. It was quite the chore as I have several dozens with light switches and all but it now works fine. My new home structure had the same devices but I did change a few room names and moved a couple of devices to different rooms so it wasn’t identical. Don’t know if that mattered. Also, note my Nest Doorbell battery had to be enrolled all over again. I couldn’t just move it to the new home. All other devices were fairly straightforward to move. Just had to go in the devices settings, tap current home and select the new home.

As per the agent, somehow, the home structure caused the bug, which she said engineering would the reported to engineering.

2nd Gen Nest Hub 【1-888-588-8639】 not showing devices

I can't find my Google Nest or Home device in the Google Home app
If your device doesn't appear during the setup process, try these steps.

Initial checklist
First, make sure:

You're using the latest version of the Google Home app.
The speaker or display is plugged in and turned on.
You can tell Google Home, Google Nest Mini (2nd Gen), Google Home Mini (1st Gen), Google Home Max, or Google Nest Audio is on and in setup mode when the white LED lights flash.
You are in the same room as the device.
If you are using an iOS device, turn on Bluetooth.
On the home screen, tap Settings and then Bluetooth.
Make sure the slider is on (to the right and green).
Close Settings and return to the Google Home app Google Home app.
If you're using an Android device, turn on location services.
On your Android device, tap Settings.
Touch Security & location and then Location and then Use location and then return to the home screen.
Tap Settings then Apps & notifications then Google Home app Google Home app then Permissions.
Next to "Location," make sure the slider is turned on (to the right and blue).
General Troubleshooting
If you checked all of the steps above and still can't find your speaker or display, try one of the steps below, and then find your device. If you still can't find it, go to the next step.

Step 1. Restart your speaker or display

Unplug the power cable from your speaker or display.
Reconnect the power cable to your speaker or display.
Step 2. Force close and reopen the Google Home app

Step 3. Connect to your device from your phone or tablet's Wi-Fi settings

Open Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device.
Check the list of available Wi-Fi networks and search for an available network such as "GoogleHomeXXXX" (where XXXX is a random number).
Note: If you have already set up your device and have not factory reset it since it was disconnected from the network, look for the device name you assigned to it in the list of available networks on your mobile device (Example: Home Kitchen).
If you can successfully connect to the Google Nest or Home SSID (network name) in your Wi-Fi settings, open the Google Home app and then set up the device again.
Advanced troubleshooting
If you still can't find your speaker or display in the Google Home app, try the following:

Use another compatible mobile device to set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display.
Move the speaker or screen to a different location. This will rule out any interference in the area that may be causing the SSID to not broadcast correctly.
Do a factory reset.
On your mobile device or tablet, turn Wi-Fi off and back on again. Reopen the Google Home app and try setting it up again.
