Adding an event to my google calendar via voice command is producing ""Mmm, Something went wrong..."

My google nest mini works perfectly apart from one annoyance - any help gratefully received!...

When I ask it to add an event to my calendar / schedule an event... it guides me through the various quesitons until it's correctly heard all the information.   Great so far.  Then it asks the final question, "Do you to want to save that?"... When I reply "yes" it then thinks about it and says...

"Mmmm, Something went wrong and I wasn't able to make your event... you can try again in a few seconds"

Which, when I duly do, it then repeats the above process.   It never saves my event.

I've got everything turned on. such as "personal results" within the google-home controls for the nest mini.  This useful function used to work, months ago, but now doesn't.   Any ideas please?   To add an extra piece to the puzzle, it correctly reads out events from the calendar, so it seems to be getting information from the calendar, just not to it.   Thanks in advance.

Hi Lozenger,

Thanks for posting. That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s check out what’s going on. A few questions: when did it begin? Were there any recent changes? Are you getting the same response when you use your phone’s Google Assistant?

Let’s try to refresh your devices and observe if it makes a difference. First, reboot your Wi-Fi router, and once the network is back up, do the same thing to your Google Nest Mini.

Regards,

Juni
