Adjusting the time on Nest

Hi,

I have moved states recently and my nest time is still showing the time in my old time zone. I can’t find anywhere in the google home app where to change this.

Hi @Scruff,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Hub is not showing the correct time and showing you the old time zone. Don't worry, help is here.

Before we continue, I have some questions:

  • Have you tried a factory reset and set the new address during the setup?
  • What model is the device that has the wrong time zone?
  • What troubleshooting have you done to fix the problem?

I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Best regards,

Derick.

Hi,

I have changed all addresses on my Google profile. I have rebooted the display from the home app. I don’t know how to do a factory reset, can you tell me how? I couldn’t find a reset button on the device.
The problem still persists, with the wrong time for my Timezone. It is showing the same time as where we moved from (Western Australia). We now live in New South Wales which is 3 hours ahead.

Hi there!

Thanks for your reply. You will find the instructions to factory reset your Nest Hub in the following article: Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays, you only need to select your device from the list, and you will see the steps to factory reset your device; the steps can vary depending on the model of Nest Hub.

I’ll be waiting for your reply.

Best regards,

Derick.
