After 6 pm my nest audio speaker won't cast from my phone

After 6 pm my nest audio speaker won't cast from my phone. But come the morning it's fine. I've rebooted both devices and tried to numerous of times

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm truly sorry to hear Nest Audio speaker won't cast after 6pm.  I appreciate the steps you've already taken to troubleshoot the issue. I'm here to help!

To troubleshoot effectively, please answer the following questions: 

  • Are you using a VPN on your network?
  • Do you have any time restrictions on your WiFi router?
  • Are you using a private network or a Hotspot?
  • Do you have an Android or iOS device?
  • Is this happening on all your devices or just a specific one?
  • What apps are you trying to cast?

In the meantime, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • Make sure the streaming device and the mobile device are being set up in the same mobile hotspot. 
  • Change their network connection to either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
  • Make sure settings for your hotspot is enabled. 
  • Please, disable Bluetooth and try again.
