After set up, take tour but never pass swipe to left side

Hi Google expert team,

I have bought my nest hub 2nd gen a few days ago from Japan and bring it back to use in Thailand.

After unbox and  setup, the product will take a tour for me to follow tour suggestion.

The problem is after swipe up to show the control bar the next one willbe swipe to left. Inever pass this step. Nest hub keeps inform Would you like to resume/later or even skip tour.

I did factory reset a few times and never pass this step. However, I still can swipe the screen after quit the tour.

Besides, my nest hub doesn't have any menu to set sleep sensing and gesture setting at all in both of nest hub and google home in my cellphone.

Is there anyboday face the same things as mine?

I can't speak to swiping left for a tour of the Nest Hub.

However, according to the Google Nest Help page below, "Sleep Sensing isn't currently available in all languages or countries."

But Google Nest does not list WHICH countries and languages are supported.

Thank you very much for your kind sharing.

The issue of swiping left for a tour of the Nest Hub is randonly happened because I did factory reset many times to solve the sleeping sensing and gesture setting problem.

It seems to me that it was some bugs of the firmware. from all times factory reset, there were sometimes I coundn't swipe left to other pages and needed to wait for a while then it statred to allow me to do so.

I have the same problem setting up google nest - when tour started I can’t do the swipe left to other pages

Do you also have a problem of missing sleep sensing and gesture features?

@Aye, thanks for reaching out. Sleep Sensing uses Motion Sense which is powered by Soli energy that's unsupported in Thailand. You can share feedback with our product engineers about launching Soli in your country so this feature will work there.

@Lyndon, what country are you from? Do you also have no option to set up Sleep Sensing?
