App wont load, devices (nest and home) keep saying a glitch

Not sure if first request loaded, sorry for a repeat. App wont load, tried all day yesterday then finally for 2 hour it loaded, then this morning wont load. Unplugged device. My google home display is also not responding to asks, sometimes it takes 8 tries to turn on the lights. Checked no outages...ready to can the whole set up. Nothing changed on my end...

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

We're sorry to hear about this experience. Before we start some steps, a few things I'd like to ask-- does your Google Nest speaker respond to all commands? What phone are you using? Is it an Android or iOS device?

 

Let's start performing these steps:

 

  1. Reboot your phone by turning it off for a few minutes.
  2. Uninstall/Reinstall the Home app from your phone.
  3. Reboot both your Google Nest speakers and router, simply by unplugging it from the power source for at least a few minutes.
  4. As soon as the devices are all plugged in, try some commands and see if the steps worked.
