Hi,
My Arenti dome 1 cam has stopped displaying on my nest device.
Was set up last week & worked fine with verbal command to show camera.
The camera is working & Arenti app seems fine and up to date.
Why has it now stopped displaying on Nest hub?
I've relinked the camera to my Google Home again and still not displaying camera.
I've also tried using command " sync my devices "
Ideas please to fix ? Do I need to reset Nest? Reset camera?
Does resetting Nest lose how / what I've already set up? I've only recently bought the Nest so still familiarising myself with it .

Have you found a fix for this?

It's being intermittent, to be honest. I'm going to reply to the Google admin in a bit.

Hi,
It's been really hit & miss to be honest.
My indoor camera is not a permanent requirement, but in use for now. I'm wondering if its Wifi & query signal strength issues? It's quite far from router.
The camera, when I ask Google to show most often would say it was connecting & then I'd get black screens. Sometimes I'd give command 5 or 6 times before getting an image.
Sometimes it would display 1st time & stay connected, was just using it to view 10 mins or so, not longer.
I'm questioning if this is also an issue to do with wifi strength maybe? My device is in the kitchen.
My Google assistant has been having quite a few freaky blips lately ( maybe I need new post/ thread area?) , because I have no clue why sometimes she's answered & not even been asked a question !
Anyway, query signal strengths I think?
Can I check for Nest updates? I assume it should be auto updating / bug fixes?
Thanks,
We're due to change ISP soon so whether things would be any different after that 🤷🏻♀️

Hey Vixen_vg22,
I am sorry to hear you are still having issues with your device. I wanted to check in, and see if the new ISP had resolved the issue? I would also recommend ensuring the device is closer to the router, or a Wi-Fi point, as this could cause issues. Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I would be happy to review.
Best regards,
Jake
