My Assistant has stopped reading out the tasks that are set in my calendar for every night (to take meds, which it's important I don't forget!) I get a beep and it displays on my phone, but I find it's better if I actually hear the reminder being read out to me. Can anyone suggest how I can sort this out?? Thanks!

Hi Annis,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry that the Google Assistant stopped reading out your tasks in your calendar every night. I understand how frustrating this can be. Let's work together to find a solution.
For this concern, please make sure to add your tasks on Google Calendar. Here are the steps:
Open the Google Home app.
At the top right corner of the screen, tap your account.
Verify the Google Account on screen is the one linked to your Google Home 1st Gen. To switch accounts, tap the down arrow icon and then choose another account or Add another account.
Tap to close the account window.
Tap Settings, then Google Assistant, then Manage all Assistant settings, and then Calendar.
Under Your calendars, the main Google Calendar associated with the Google Account and voice linked to Google Home is checked by default.
Check the box next to other shared calendars to hear events for the selected calendar.
(Optional, English only) Under Default calendar to create events, choose the Google Calendar to add events to when voice commands are used.
Important: You can't delete, cancel, or modify an event, add invitees, or set a location with voice commands. This is done in the Google Calendar app or on desktop.
Let me know how it goes and keep me posted.
Regards,
Byron
