Assistant keep telling "device has been updated" after any commands

Hi,

I own a google nest mini that I use to voice-control lighting. Every single time I issue a command, the assistant give the usual reply then say "This device has been updated". is there any way to stop this? unplugged and replugged did nothing, do i have to reset it ?

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that the Google Assistant keeps telling you, "Device has been updated," after any commands. Don't worry, I'm here to help.

For your concern, please try the below steps:

  • Reboot your WiFi network by disconnecting the router from the power for 3 mins.
  • Reboot your Google Nest Mini by disconnecting the power for 3 mins.
  • Once all the devices have been restarted, try to see if the issue is the same. 
  • If the answer is yes, unlink and relink the lights on your Google Home app.
