This was reported in 2022 and brushed away as "don't do that" but I imagine the engineers at Google are capable of designing a solution that will allow us to use a Nest Audio stereo speaker pair with a Google TV connected by Bluetooth to offer seamless audio with no video/audio sync issues. The delay can not be adjusted by the TV and rests with the speakers and I am hopeful that Google can rectify this without me having to purchase additional (and unnecessary) hardware for the house.

Hi @TNLEGO,
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing audio delay connecting your Nest Audio in stereo mode to your TV. No worries, I'm here to help.
Can you tell me if the audio delay happens without stereo mode? Since you have a Nest Audio in stereo mode, you can check out the following article with some tips to try: How to correct group playback delay.
Let me know how it goes after trying these steps. I'm happy to assist further if needed.
Cheers,
Jonathan

Thanks, Jonathan. This doesn't relate to group playback nor does the delay happen when not in stereo mode.

Hi @TNLEGO,
Thanks for your reply.
Just to be on the same page, have you already followed the article? If so, how did it go?
Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.
Sincerely,
Jonathan

Thanks. There is no delay between the speakers. There is a delay between the TV's image and the audio from the speaker pair. The article is not helpful.

Hi @TNLEGO,
Thanks for confirming.
Have you tried moving your stereo speakers to a speaker group? If not, please try it. Also, please tell me what type of TV you have. If your TV can be connected to the Google Home app, please check out the following article to link your TV to your speakers: Pick a preferred TV or speaker for video and audio playback.
Let me know how it goes after trying these steps. I'm happy to assist further
Regards,
Jonathan

Sorry--this isn't applicable to my situation. I have a TV with poor audio. I'd like to use a Google Nest Audio stereo pair to serve the audio for the TV via Bluetooth. When I have them as a stereo pair, there is a lip sync issue. When I only have one speaker, it works fine. This has nothing to do with speaker groups. To my understanding, there is no way to "cast audio" from a TV to a speaker group when watching TV.

Hi @TNLEGO.
Thanks for your response.
I understand that some of the steps may not apply to your situation. However, please try creating a speaker group and adding your speakers in stereo mode, as this can potentially improve audio sync.
Keep me posted on how it goes.
Best,
Jonathan
