Audio technica lost connection and won’t pair to nest audio

My nest audio was previously connected via Bluetooth to my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable, but I unplugged the speaker and lost the connection when I plugged it back in. Unfortunately, now the nest refuses to see or connect to the turntable.
I have tried factory resetting the turntable Bluetooth AND the speaker. I have removed and reinstalled the google home app. The turntable pairs very quickly with any other headphone or Bluetooth speaker but the near won’t see or connect to the turntable. So it’s definitely a Google issue and not the turntable.

Thank you in advance! Any advice is appreciated.

Hello @Pursuitofpeache

Thanks for reaching out to our Nest Community. I apologize for all the inconvenience about this disconnection with your Nest Speaker.

Really sorry for all this inconvenience. Let me lend you a hand to find a solution.

I have a couple of questions about your device:

Can the speaker pair with other Bluetooth devices just fine? You mentioned the turntable is connected with other devices, but can you clarify if the speaker has the possibility to connect with another device?

Also, you mentioned you performed a factory reset on both devices, so did you try to remove and pair again the Bluetooth speaker on the Google Home app?

To remove it, you need to do:

  • Tap Favorites or Devices.
  • Tap the device you want to remove from your home.
  • Tap Settings Remove device Remove.

And for the pair again:

  • Tap Favorites or Devices.
  • Select the speaker that you would like to pair with their Bluetooth device.
  • At the top-right, tap Settings, then Audio, then Default Music Speaker, and then Pair Bluetooth Speaker.

Feel free to keep us posted with these details, and I will definitely do my best to find a solution for you.

Best regards,

Douglas.
