My neighbor's TV automatically casting in my "Google Home" app. Everytime I disconnect it automatically connect. I can remotely control their tv. We are on same wifi.
That's a weakness of Google Nest's environment. They assume that Google Nest devices are being used at home, so anyone on the same Wi-Fi network has access to the Google Nest devices on that network. See Google Nest's responses on these threads:
