Best cannot find soundbar after reconnect

Hi,

I recently reconnected my Samsung soundbar via Smartthings integration. The soundbar is available as a cast device on my phone and is connected to internet and fully updated. 
I set the soundbar up as default speaker for my best. However whenever I try to play music the nest says it cannot find the soundbar. 
I have run trough the entire process a second time (de register soundbar as standard speaker for nest, delink smartthings, reling SmartThings, set up soundbar as default external speaker), but this doesn’t help unfortunately.  Initially, before all the resets, the setup did work as intended. 

not sure if this helps, but in the main screen the speaker is also grayed out and there is a small gear icon in the top right.
