Hi
My screen has black lines very much like what has been described in this other topic:
A factory reset has not helped, is there anything else I should try?
Thanks

Hey Richard9,
Welcome to the Google Nest Community Forum.
Sorry to hear about your Google Nest Hub, but thanks for bringing this up - help is here. A few questions - when did the behavior start? Was the device dropped or knocked over? Is the device still working? When and where did you purchase your device? Please take a photo of your device showing the firmware and operating system version.
Follow the steps below to know-how:
I'll wait for your response.
Cheers,
Muddi

Hey Richard9,
Thanks for that information. What country are you located in? It is best if you could send a video or photo showing the screen. Please follow the steps below on how you can upload photos here in the community.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi Muddi
It just started a day ago and yes it still works fine expect for the screen. The Hub sits on my desk it has never been dropped or knocked over and I bought form the Google Store back in Sept 2020.
I believe its a hardware rather than a software fault ☹️
Cant see an option to upload photo here but here are some details: Firmware 1.56.291758 and the OS 4.20210608.1.1146075

Right, so we cant actually upload a photo here it needs to be hosted elsewhere first.
Anyway, problem solved... Google are sending me a replacement in exchange 👍
