When I speak to my google devices  it keeps asking me multiple times to broadcast the messages I sometimes try an assortment of ways to ask it to broadcast but get similar results.

Hi Dwilli,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your broadcast concern. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: what Google Nest speaker are we working with? When did it begin? Were there any recent changes made? Also, what troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Try to check the history of your Google Assistant and see if it heard you correctly. Check out the steps below:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. At the top right, tap your account.
  3. Tap My Activity .

Regards,

Juni

Hi exactly as the response from gogglmad says we have a whole range of devices and they do the same thing we have v2 mesh both of the screens small and large (not the new integrated tablet doc) as well a v1 and v2 pebble. None of my broadcasts shown in the activity in Google hub just motion and routines for lights coming off and on. Please advise if I'm missing something, also can happily create a video although the description from googlmad is accurate

Hi folks,

Thanks for the details you’ve shared. Try the factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays

My wife has the same issue I think. It never picks up her broadcast message first time. Even though it has asked "What's the message?". She'll say it then Google explains "to broadcast just say your message". So she repeats her message, then it finally broadcasts it. It always happens to her, every time. It rarely happens to anyone else.

100% agree

95% of the time, when I trigger the broadcast routine and I speak my message, it does not get recorded/heard/understood

Instead, after a short pause, I get 'to broadcast your message......' 😔

This is driving me and my family to despair!

Either the mic is not being activated or the sensitivity has been lowered.

'OK Google Broadcast' is 100% effective

Tell it a message - only works first time 5%. After shouting the message on a second attempt it might be 50% effective

Please get this fixed
