Broadcast stopped working from my phone

I used to be able to broadcast messages from my Samsung phone to all my home speakers. Now nothing happens, it doesn't seem to even know I am talking. I tried using the Broadcast button on the Home app dashboard and also by saying "Broadcast" into the Google Voice, but neither does anything, How do I fix this,

Hi Roxy2828,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let's check it out. A few questions: what Nest speakers do you have aside from your Google Home Mini? May I know the exact commands you're giving? Are all your devices on the same Wi-Fi network under a single account with a Gmail domain?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Let's also check each individual device for the "Do not disturb" feature. Follow the steps below and make sure they're disabled:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. In Home View > tap the device card on a speaker or display to set Do not disturb for.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings > Notifications and digital wellbeing
  4. Tap the slider on On or off Off for Do not disturb.

For more information about broadcast, check out this guide.

Best,

Dan
