How do I call my own cell phone through the nest mini without using Duo? I’m setting this up for my uncle so my aunt can call him on his cell phone while he’s at work. She can’t work a phone very well so she needs to call him (his Google account) on his cell. When we used duo it called out through the speaker but not to his phone. Help!

Hi Jackie14,
Depending on where in the world you live different ways to make calls are available. Please have a look at the Google Nest help center link below for more information and let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi,
Is it possible to call the same number that the nest is set up with? My uncle wants to be able to call my aunt who is in a chair and can’t move very well but it’s set up with his Google account and phone number. So it’d be like him calling himself. Help!

What county are you using the device in?

I had to return it. I worked on it 4 hours and no luck.

Sorry to hear that.
Calling mobile/cell phones is only possible in some countries but other options are available. On my own phone I just use the 'Call Home' button that's baked into the Google Home app.
