I bought a Google Nest mini 2gen to be able to control several devices with my voice, e.g. lighting in my room. However, I did not know that the device does not support Polish. This is a bit strange to me, since the assistant in my phone supports Polish. Am I doing something wrong or is it just that Nest mini does not yet support Polish, and if so, can we expect some update in this direction?
You might have to wait for a Community Specialist to comment for a decisive answer, but you could try setting your language to English (United States) and then you might get the Polski option.
The English (United States) version apparently has features that are unavailable to other countries.
I have added two languages, Polish and English. The assistant on my smartphone is in Polish and google nest is set to English because I can't change it to Polish because it is unavailable on the list..
Are you sure you are using the same device? Google Nest mini 2 gen? I found articles saying that this device does not support the Polish language. It seems to me that the Polish language appears in the language option of your smartphone's assistant settings.
I understand how confusing it is since there's no option to choose the Polish language on the Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) and the Nest Hub (2nd gen). We appreciate your interest in using the device in your preferred language.
At this time, the Polish language isn't currently available on the Nest Mini (2nd gen) and Nest Hub 2nd Gen. I understand that this is a helpful language that makes your experience easier through the Google ecosystem, and we all hope to make it available on the Nest devices in the future.
