Hi,
I'm an iOS user and not very familiar with Android. Apologies in advance for my long-winded request. I am considering buying a Nest Hub and set it up for my mom, who is now nearly blind and unable to use a smart phone as she cannot see the screen.
1) If I set up her iPhone with Google Assistant and connect with the Nest Hub, will she be able to ask Nest Hub to make outgoing phone calls by voice command? This is possible with Apple HomePod + Siri.
2) If a call comes in on her iPhone:
(a) will Nest Hub be able to announce that there is an incoming call and the identity of the caller? With her current setup, only the phone announces the caller but the HomePod remains silent.
(b) will she be able to direct Nest Hub to pick up the call by voice command? This is possible with Apple HomePod + Siri.
The inability of our current setup to do 2(a) is very inconvenient. If Nest Hub + Google Assistant can do all of the above tasks, then this would make her life much easier.
Thank you for your kind attention.

Hey Peecholino,
Great questions! With Google Nest and Home speakers and displays, you have the ability to conveniently make and receive calls using the Google Meet calling feature. To ensure seamless calling experiences, it's important to add and link contacts to your Google Meet account, allowing the Nest display to easily call or announce incoming calls. If you'd like to explore this feature further, we recommend visiting our help center for detailed instructions on how to Make Meet calls on your speakers or displays.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Muddi
