Can not get Assistant to play YouTUbe music playlists

Rabinnh

I've been trying to get my Assistants to play one of my playlists on command, but it keeps responding "I can only share personal information if I can verify your voice, go to Assistant settings . . . etc".

Well, my voice is verified, my Home Apps shows personal results are "On" for every device.

I even retrained my voice, remove personal results from all devices, and reset everything,

Still no joy, but everything else works.

Hi Rabinnh,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― a few questions: was it working before? What Nest speakers do you use to play music? Is it only happening when using YouTube Music? Is the account the same on your Google Home app and your YouTube Music? Do you have a premium subscription? If yes, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops. Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, give the command "Hey, Google! Play music". Let's see if it plays a random song. Re-enable personal results. Also, try to check your Premium Subscription if it's active or not.

Check out this guide for more information about playing music using your Nest speakers.

Keep us posted.

Best,

Dan
