Can't add items to my (long) shopping list

Hi,

I love the feature to add to my shopping list using voice commands on my google nest (2g).

But today the feature stopped working. Instead of adding the items, Google nest answered "You have quite a few items on that list" and then reads out the first items of the list instead of adding the new item.

Any ideas how to solve that problem?

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. Here's some questions we want to ask:

 

  1. Is your speaker or display powered on correctly?
  2. Is your speaker or display set up on your Wi-Fi network?
  3. Is your speaker or display properly linked to a Google Account?
  4. Are you using a mobile device that has the same Google Account as your speaker or display?

Also, let's try these steps:

 

  1. Make sure you use the same Google Account used to set up the speaker or display.
  2. Make sure that Google Account is selected within the Google Home app.
