I have several Nest Minis throughout the house configured with Chromecast Audio devices as their default music speakers. This works nicely (e.g. "OK Google, play Coldplay" will start music on the hifi stereo in the same room, not on the Nest Mini itself).
However: I just bought another Nest Mini, and when I try to configure this to play back music on the Chromecast Audio in the same room there simply are no speakers available in the dialog window in Google Home. I can select the correct option menu under Audio, but the ONLY choice on the next page is to reset to default.
Then i checked with my other Nest Minis. They all report the correct Chromecast Audio devices as their default speakers on the first page under Audio, but when I click on them it's the same result: A completely empty list, just with the option to reset.
I don't think I've changed anything else since the last time this worked as intended. Android phone and the Nest Minis/CCAs are all on the same wifi net.
I COULD understand this if just the CCAs was unavailable, (those magnificent little devices are waaay to good for Google to keep them supported in the future...🙄) But the other Nest Minis and Chromecast should definitely be visible there.

Thanks for posting in the community.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience that you’ve been experiencing with your Nest Mini and your Chromecast Audio when trying to set it up as a default music speaker. I can see that you just installed this new Nest Mini, but when trying to set the default audio speaker, it won’t show up in the settings. No worries, help is here.
I need some extra information to further assist you. Here are some questions for you:
I’ll be waiting for your response.
