Can’t connect to wifi

I can not connect my Google nest hud max I changed wifi provider but am struggling to find out how to change to the wifi provider that am using now ,what should I do?

And all it does is say couldn’t connect when I do it from the home app.

Hi Felix2,

 

When changing your Nest Hub Max’s Wi-Fi to a new connection, it needs to be removed first while it’s connected. Otherwise, setting it up might have some hiccups. 

 

Let’s try these steps:

 

  1. Save any important footage from your device's video history.
  2. Remove your Nest Hub Max from the Google Home app.
  3. On the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.

 

Once done, follow the instructions below:

(Note: the steps below applies best if you only have your Nest Hub Max linked to your Google Home app)

 

Create a new home structure.

In the Google Home app home screen, tap Add +.

Select Create new home.

 

Delete the old home structure. 

In the Google Home app home screen, tap the arrow icon to switch between home structures > choose the old home structure.

Select Settings > Delete this home > Delete.
