I have a LG TV that I added to my Google Home app but it does not work. It says not responding, offline. I decided to remove/re-install but there is no option to remove it from the Google Home app. All my other devices have the option to "remove device." The only option with my LG tv is the settings section is "unlink service." But when I click that it says, "On the next screen, select the service and tap to unlink." But the next screen displays literally hundreds of apps and there's no way to tell which app I need to unlink. I searched LG but none of the 3 apps that appear are linked.

+1 in support of OP. I have a similar problem.
Added my LG TV to Home app.
It then stopped working (Connecting..../not responding loop).
Tried to delete it, but no way to get it out of the Home app.
Tried to add TV again via LG ThinkQ app and and it time worked fine.
However, ghost device still there.
Tried deleting again by unlinking LG ThinQ service, but only working one deletes.
I would create a new home and move all devices (about 15) if I thought it would work but I've read elsewhere that it doesn't!
Why is there no simple 'delete' option. Perhaps if there was an explanation as to why this is happening, it would be less frustrating.
Thanks.

I ended up removing it via my Google Assistant's settings.
From inside the Google Home app, click/press on your account icon in the top-right and go to Assistant Settings. Scroll down and go to Devices; find the offending LG TV in that list and delete it. Go back to Google Home and the TV is gone!
I was relieved to have stumbled on to this. I've read a lot about creating a new home and I did not want to go to that kind of effort.

Facing the same problem, but even on that section of Google Assistant settings the TV is stuck... can't remove it at all.

Actually, it's seems gone now but now it keeps complaining it can't find any device. It doesn't even ask for my LG login... I've deleted my account twice from LG just to try and get it fixed, so maybe it's stuck with my old account.

What is complaining it can't find a device? Even when the LG TV was stuck in Google Home, it never complained to me unless I tried to interact with that device in some way; otherwise it was just sitting there, taunting me.
