Can't use device.command.MediaStop command with Nest Mini

I have 4 Nest Minis and 3 of them won't populate when I use device.command.MediaStop. All 4 them are on the same firmware but I can only use this action with only one of them. My current work around is using assistant.command.OkGoogle 'stop' or 'stop casting' but this method fails to work frequently and when it does it doesn't stop casting but only pauses whatever is playing.

Nest Mini par  command kaam nahi karta. Aap Google Assistant se "Hey Google , stop" ya "Hey Google, pause" command use kar sakte hain. Agar aap API se control kar rahe hain, toh device compatibility aur settings check karein

Hi mehmetkoc,

Thanks for reaching out to our community.

I’m sorry to hear that 3 of your 4 Nest Mini speaker devices are not responding to your command “Media stop.” Thank you for letting us know that currently you are using the assistant command “Ok Google stop” or “stop casting,” but this method fails to work frequently; it doesn’t stop, only pauses. No worries, help is here.

Before I start further troubleshooting, let me ask you a few questions:

  • When did the issue start?
  • What is the model of your failing Nest Mini devices?
  • Do your speaker devices work separately, or are they configured to work on a speaker group?
  • Are your speaker devices linked to your Google account?
  • Are you using the latest version of the Google Home app?
  • Are your speakers configured to the same language as your mobile device?
  • Are you the homeowner of the speakers' home structure?
  • Are you having this inconvenience with other commands?
  • Are you having the issue only with a specific media app?
  • What kind of media are you trying to stop?

Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your answer.

Best regards,

Virna

Failing ones are nest mini to 2nd gens. I just bought a used nest wifi point to test it's speaker with the same command and still no luck. My nest hub(it was the original Google Hub) shows up in the devices, as well as 1 of 3 of my minis. Really appreciate help. I know it is a minor issue but really frustrating to have an inconsistent experience.
