Cannot add sixth person to my Google Home

I have a Google Home set up along with a Google Family. I have the family maxed out, though I don't have all my family members on it because of the max. I then tried to add all the Family members to my Home and when I get to the sixth member I'm told to "try again later", but it never works. If I remove a member I can add the other, but then I cannot readd the removed member. Any ideas on how to get it to work?

Below are some things to consider and some questions to ask.

You've already mentioned this limit, which is typically six members (including the administrator). When this limit is reached, this could be the issue you're experiencing. We need to be sure you're counting yourself when you say you currently have only five members added.

If the person you want to invite has already requested to join your home, instead of sending a new invitation, you need to accept that request.

If everything is set up correctly and you're still having trouble adding the sixth person, try another phone to see if that's the source of the problem.

I was trying to add person number six counting me. I just tried from my wife's phone and I think it actually worked! I had tried from my son's phone with no luck. Thanks for the recommendation to try another phone!
