Whenever I use the app to play a routine on my nest speaker i am then no longer able to use my phone at all. I play white noise for my baby using the google home app and then when i try to play a video off Facebook for example it then plays through the speaker waking up my baby. I had an alexa and it never did this. I would ask her to 'play bedtime' from the app then i could exit and my vidoes would play out of my phone. How do i make the white noise play from the app but not cast everything on my phone afterwards, without going into the room and asking the nest directly?
