Casting explicit YouTube music songs to Google Home Mini Speaker

Hello,

I've got no restrictions that I'm aware of for playing songs classed as explicit from my Pixel 5 on my YouTube Music subscription to a Google nest mini but it won't allow me to play them when choosing to cast the song.

Any workarounds as surely this can't be right?!

Hi Gibbo171,

Please try requesting the song on your Google Nest mini and if it plays then stop and try casting again from your phone.

That does seem to do the trick but using the new tuner feature on YouTube means this is a bit of a pain as need to skip around the custom playlist.

Is there a way to disable it completely?

Hi again,

That's the only workaround that I know of, once done you should now be able to cast any songs with explicit lyrics.
