Changing routines with voice commands

VictorSchroder
Community Member

I would like to set up one routine that can change the settings on another routine.

I use a routine as an alarm clock in the morning so that it turns on the lights and tells me the news. But to set a time to start this routine automatically I need to go into the Google Home settings and manually do it every time. What I would like is a command that goes along the lines of "Hey Google, change the starting time for the WAKE UP routine" and then getting asked to what time I want to set it to. This would also allow me to use it in a bedtime routine as one of the actions as well.

I hope this is something that can be implemented and if it already is, please let me know how to set it up ❤️

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the frustrations that you're having with the Google Assistant, I'm happy to help.

I would suggest visiting our Google Assistant Forum and writing to them there as this is a question that they would be able to help answer.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
