I have a google nest doorbell and can't get the chimes to work for the doorbell. I have checked quiet time (not on) and chime duration (3 seconds) and they still don't work. I have even connected the nest mini to a music service and that does actually work. If possible, does anyone have an idea why the chimes wouldn't work. Note that I have deleted the app several times and have even set up a new gmail account to handle the camera and chimes. Thank you.

It's not clear what you mean by "chimes" and it's not clear whether you have the Google Nest Hello Doorbell or the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery).
To get doorbell notifications on your Nest Mini, you need to enable "Visitor announcements" on your doorbell: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en
To get doorbell notifications on your indoor chime, you need to enable "Indoor chime" on your doorbell. Your doorbell also has to be connected to your doorbell wires (this means the Google Nest Doorbell [Battery] can't ring your indoor chime if it's running on battery power only and not wired.) The "Quiet Time" setting applies to your indoor chime. The "Chime duration" applies if you have an electronic indoor chime (rather than a mechanical (ding-dong) chime.
I don't know how connecting your Nest Mini to a music service has anything to do with "chimes".
I don't know the effect of your having set up a new gmail account. If you switch a Nest device to another account you first have to remove it from the first account, and you may also need to do a factory reset.

Thank you for answering. I was referring to the chime that could come through a Nest Mini using the Nest doorbell. The doorbell is wired and the camera is functioning. I did go through the steps that were outlined in the link you sent, but to no avail. I will be calling in Tech support. I appreciate the assistance.

Good luck with Support. The only other thing that should be preventing "Visitor announcements" on your doorbell is if you Nest Mini is set to "Do Not Disturb" under "Notifications & well-being".
